Adriatic Gate Container Terminal commissions new quay cranes

Adriatic Gate Container Terminal (AGCT) has officially commissioned its new quay cranes, marking the start of operations for the equipment. The handover acceptance certificate was signed on December 30, 2025.

AGCT Engineering Manager Ratko Tatalović signed the document on behalf of the terminal. ZPMC was represented by Handover Project Manager Wang Qicheng. The signing followed the completion of procurement, engineering, manufacturing, transport, unloading, and final commissioning works.

AGCT said teams from procurement, engineering, infrastructure, and management were involved throughout the project. Representatives from ZPMC’s European Regional Center, project management, and commercial teams also attended the event, travelling from Shanghai to oversee the final stage.

Tatalović said the project reflected strong teamwork across AGCT departments and close cooperation with ZPMC. He added that ZPMC’s technical and organizational support played a key role in the successful delivery.

AGCT said the new quay cranes will strengthen terminal capacity, improve operational efficiency, and support long-term competitiveness in the region.
