AD Ports Partners with MBME on digital trade tools

AD Ports Group has signed a framework agreement with UAE-based MBME Group to explore joint development of digital trade and financial technology solutions.

The partnership will look at rolling out tools such as digital payments, goods traceability, e-signatures, and compliance systems. Both companies aim to offer these services in the UAE and global markets.

The collaboration builds on AD Ports Group’s growing role in digital transformation through its tech arm, Maqta Gateway, and its Advanced Trade and Logistics Platform (ATLP). MBME, meanwhile, brings deep expertise in fintech and digital services across the region.

Mohamed Jamal-Eddine, Chief Digital & Transformation Officer at AD Ports Group, said the partnership could unlock major efficiencies. “We’re focused on integrating smart fintech tools into our operations to push industry standards forward and support long-term growth,” he said.

MBME Group CEO Abdelhadi Mohamed added that the deal positions both companies to deliver smarter, more efficient digital services. “This is about empowering businesses and boosting the UAE’s global leadership in tech-driven trade,” he said.

One focus area will be unified traceability, helping track product origin, shipment paths, customs data, and ESG reporting. The companies see this as key to building transparent and efficient supply chains.

The agreement highlights the growing role of digital transformation in driving global trade competitiveness and service innovation.
