AD Ports Group strengthens Logistics Cluster with senior executive appointments

AD Ports Group has boosted leadership in its Logistics Cluster under CEO Jochen Thewes. The appointments aim to make the Cluster a leading global logistics provider. The move builds on the Group’s operations through Noatum Logistics.

Global Leadership Appointments
Thorsten Meincke joins as Executive Vice President – Ocean and Air Freight. He has over 20 years of international experience, including COO at DB Schenker and senior roles at Kuehne + Nagel.

Björn Eckbauer is named Senior Vice President – Global Air Freight Development and Procurement. He brings more than 30 years in air freight and previously led global operations at DB Schenker.

Boris Kuehn becomes Senior Vice President – Mergers and Acquisitions. He has extensive experience in M&A and corporate venture capital. He led major acquisitions at Deutsche Bahn AG.

Regional Leadership Appointments
Thorsten Pook joins as Managing Director – Middle East Region. He has 30+ years in logistics, including leadership roles at CEVA Logistics and Kuehne + Nagel.

Samad Osman is appointed Managing Director – Africa Region. He brings 20+ years of experience with Hapag-Lloyd, AP Moller, Kuehne + Nagel, and OMA Group.

Roberto Moreno becomes Managing Director – Latin America Region. He previously served as CEO for Canada and Latin America at DB Schenker.
