AD Ports Group signs 440,000 sqm land lease with Azizi Developments

AD Ports Group, through its subsidiary Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi – KEZAD Group, has signed a second 50-year land lease agreement with Azizi Developments. The UAE developer plans to invest AED 2 billion to expand its manufacturing and logistics operations in KEZAD.

The new plots cover nearly 440,000 square meters. Azizi will build twelve factories on the site. The facilities will increase production capacity, strengthen supply chain resilience, and support Azizi’s growing project pipeline, including its major master-planned communities and landmark developments.

Abdullah Al Hameli, CEO of Economic Cities & Free Zones at AD Ports Group, said: “Azizi’s expansion in KEZAD reflects strong confidence in our integrated industrial ecosystem. We offer land, infrastructure, and logistics connectivity that enable large companies to scale efficiently. This agreement supports Abu Dhabi’s industrial growth and deepens our long-term partnership with Azizi as they invest in advanced manufacturing and supply chain capabilities.”

The deal follows the first 50-year land lease the two parties signed in October 2024 in KEZAD A (KEZAD Al Ma’mourah). Azizi committed AED 1 billion to build several production facilities, including a reinforcement steel cut-and-bend plant, timber joinery and duct fabrication workshops, a modular factory, and aluminium and glass fabrication units. The earlier site spans about 220,000 square meters.
