AD Ports Group has formed a strategic joint venture with CEI Supply Chain to expand its logistics footprint in Pakistan. The new entity will deliver asset-light, door-to-door logistics solutions across the country.
Under the agreement, AD Ports Group will hold a 51% majority stake. The joint venture strengthens the Group’s presence in a key South Asian market and supports its Central Asia corridor strategy. It also links port infrastructure directly with inland logistics networks.
The partnership will build on CEI Supply Chain’s established operations in Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot, and Islamabad. By combining local expertise with AD Ports Group’s global reach, the venture targets growth in sectors such as automotive, retail, FMCG, and energy.
The new company will also align with Noatum Logistics, AD Ports Group’s logistics arm, to support its expanding global network. The joint venture will be consolidated into AD Ports Group’s results from the first quarter of 2026.
AD Ports Group said the move marks a shift beyond port operations into fully integrated logistics services, improving connectivity between ports and end customers. CEI Supply Chain said the partnership will raise service standards and strengthen Pakistan’s logistics sector.
The agreement follows a year of expansion for AD Ports Group in Pakistan. Recent steps include opening a representative office in Islamabad, launching major dredging and terminal expansion projects in Karachi, and committing significant investment to port and bulk storage infrastructure.
Pakistan plays a central role in AD Ports Group’s strategy to develop the Middle Corridor linking China and Europe through Central Asia.
