CMA CGM revises Panama Canal surcharge from Asia to American destinations

French ocean carrier CMA CGM announced a revision of the Panama Canal Surcharge, which is implemented from Northeast Asia and China to East Coast Central America & Caribbean, Leeward, Windward, Guyana North Brazil, except Manaus.

The surcharge will be US$300 per container and will be effective from 15 April for all the destinations, except Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands, where the revised surcharge will take effect on 1 May.
