In the port of Rotterdam, about 40 empty sea containers from an inland vessel have fallen and ended up in the water late at night Jul 20 Jul 21 . That happened in the Amazonehaven on the Maasvlakte.

During the loading and unloading of the ship, something went wrong, causing the dozens of containers to end up in the water. What exactly went wrong is not clear. Employees of the port of Rotterdam have pushed the containers aside with boats, in order to prevent them ending up on the sailing route.

No one was injured in the accident.
