2M Alliance updates voyage numbers on Asia – US and Canada network

2M Alliance, comprising Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) and Maersk, has announced the revision of voyage numbers οn its Asia to US and Canada network, which will be effective by January 2022.

The alliance decided to change the service’s voyage number, and hence, the vessel’s estimated time of arrivals to match the actual departure dates from Asia.

This adjustment of the sailing programme is due to the current challenging market situation impacting port activities and generating congestion across the supply chain, according to the Swiss carrier MSC.

As such, the newly formed voyage numbers on the services below which are anticipated to provide better schedule reliability, are the following:
