Eighth day of Indian truckers strike

India’s nation-wide truckers strike has entered its eighth day. Called by the All India Motor Transport Congress, the strike appears to be gaining momentum, as we are seeing an increasing number of Trucker’s Associations taking part in Mumbai, Mundra, Chennai and Tuticorin.

As such, it is possible that you might experience difficulty transporting cargo from hinterland locations to Inland Container Depots/ Container Freight Stations (CFS), or meeting Port Gate cut-offs. You might also experience challenges picking up your imports from the Port / CFS.
