Maersk announces AE2 blank sailing extension

In connection with the upcoming Golden Week period, Maersk has endeavoured to balance its network to match reduced demand. The blanked sailings will impact Maersk’s Eastbound coverage.

“We aim to minimize the impact to our customers supply chain and provide predictability by making a structural change and securing alternative routings”, the company says.
