Kerala state pledged ₹10,000-crore investment

Kerala has been pledged ₹10,000 crore as investment at the Round Table on Investment Opportunities held in Dubai under Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

Leading port terminal operator DP World will invest ₹3,500 crore , RP Group, ₹1,000 crore; Lulu Group, ₹1,500 crore; and Aster, ₹500 crore. Small investors promised ₹3,500 crore at the round table on Saturday.

DP World, which is operating the International Container Transshipment Terminal at Vallarpadam, will invest in the shipping and logistics sector in the State; RP Group in the tourism sector; Lulu Group in retail; and Aster in the health sector. At the round table, the Chief Minister announced that an investors’ meet will be held in Kochi in December.
