Hapag-Lloyd enhances MGX service

Hapag-Lloyd announces that in order to further optimize its service network, the rotation of MGX service will be adjusted from June 2019.

An additional eastbound call to Algeciras will be added, supporting customers’ direct business as well as connecting cargoes. Miami will no longer be covered by the MGX but served by the direct call on the company’s AL6 service.

In addition, Hpag-Lloyd will also add calls at the hub ports of Cartagena and Kingston and change the Caucedo call to eastbound.

The first sailings with the new rotation will be as follows:

  • Westbound: MV Venetiko 14W24, departing from Livorno June 12, 2019
  • Eastbound: MV Venetiko 15E27, departing from Veracruz July 7, 2019

For the specific rotation, please refer to below map.
