Rate Announcement – Europe to Mexico, Caribbean and West Coast South America

As Maersk Line strives to continue to offer you a broad portfolio of services, we are announcing an increase in FAK rates (Freight All Kinds). Below are the FAK rates for a sample list of corridors, commodities and container types where the rate increase is effective. As always, please visit my.maerskline.com for a quote, or your rate sheets or contracts will provide you with full details of your latest rates.

Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) – Ghana, Togo and Benin to Far East Asia

As Maersk Line strives to continue to offer you a broad portfolio of services, we are notifying a PSS of:

  • Ghana: USD 200 per container for FAK into FEA and USD 500 per container for Cashews into Vietnam, both effective from 1st of May until further notice
  • Togo: USD 200 for Grain, Flour, Seeds and Pulses into FEA effective from 1st of May until further notice.
  • Benin: USD 300 per container for Cashews into Vietnam effective from 1st of May until further notice.

For your reference, we have also included the levels and the rate structure for some sample corridors valid from 1st of May 2017 until further notice. These charges may be changed in the future and we will notify you accordingly.

As Maersk Line strives to continue to offer you a broad portfolio of services, we are notifying a PSS of USD 200 per container for Wood, Pulp and Timber from Gabon, Dem. Rep. of Congo and Cameroon to FEA effective from 1st of May until further notice

For your reference, we have also included the levels and the rate structure for some sample corridors valid from 1st of May 2017 until further notice. These charges may be changed in the future and we will notify you accordingly.

Peak Season Surcharge – Scope Houston, TX, US to Mediterranean

As Maersk Line strives to continue to offer you a broad portfolio of services, we are notifying a Peak Season Surcharge of USD 50 for 20”, USD 100 for 40” and USD 100 for 45” applicable to all cargo from Port of Loading, Houston, TX, US to Mediterranean, effective from 15th MAY 2017 until further notice.

For your reference, we have also included the levels and the rate structure for some sample corridors to/from Europe valid from today until further notice. These charges may be changed in the future and we will notify you accordingly.
