General Rate Increase – Indian Subcontinent (ISC) and Middle East to USA and Canada

Please be advised that Hapag-Lloyd will apply a new General Rate Increase from Indian Subcontinent (ISC) and Middle East to USA and Canada as follows:

Effective Date May 1, 2018

USD 425 per 20′ standard container
USD 500 per 40′ standard container (40′ x 8’6″)
USD 500 per 40′ high cube container (40′ x 9’6″)
USD 500 per 40′ reefer container (40′ x 9’6″)
ISC Origins: India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

Middle East: UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, Djibouti.

 

 

General Rate Increase – Trans-Pacific Trade – Eastbound from East Asia to USA and Canada

We would like to inform you that Hapag-Lloyd will implement the following General Rate Increase (GRI) in the eastbound trade from East Asia to all USA and Canada destinations as follows:

This General Rate Increase will apply for all dry, reefer, non-operating reefer, flat rack and open-top containers.

Effective Date: May 1, 2018 (date of cargo receipt at origin)

Scope: East Asia to North America (USA and Canada)

USD 630 per 20′ standard container (20’ x 8’6″)
USD 700 per 40′ standard container (40’ x 8’6″)
USD 700 per 40′ high cube container (40’ x 9’6″)
USD 886 per 45′ container (45’ x 9’6″)
East Asia is defined as being the countries of Japan, Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China (PRC), Macau, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, The Philippines and Russian Pacific Coast Provinces.
